Bun Mee Phan

This is the same Bun Mee Phan. They moved to this new location. Bigger kitchen, bigger dining area, and full patio. They got fryers on location now. So here's to hoping for some new delicious creations. If you haven't been here before come get some unique delicious food. If you've been here before come support their new location.

Pork Belly Bahn Mi is really good.

Good neighborhood Banh mi. Their menu is a bit confusing but there is a wide offering. It’s essentially like chipotle where you can get the protein option in various styles. We always get the salty lemonade, a Vietnamese classic!

The food is really good and appears to be fresh and the service is good too. But I give 3 stars because of how they hijack email in phones. Be sure and turn you phone off if you don't like invasive no permission emails sent to you. Bun Mee Phan sends an email offering a birthday coupon but does not ask your permission to do so - they get into your phone's email. Which makes me wonder what else are they getting out of your phone? Take note, not everyone appreciates or likes what your doing Bun Mee Phan . My email is my personal business and I give permission or not as to who sends/solicits to me.

Chicken could have been tastier

Used to be a hole-in-the-wall and an excellent one. Moved to a bigger space and kept that great quality that we love. Try the Korean BBQ tacos...so healthier, so filling...they have a flavor no one else in KC has managed to capture!

We had the quail with rice and a grilled pork beignet, both were great. We also tried the salty lemonade and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious this seemingly strange combination turned out. The preserved lemons were well aged and had a great texture.

I ordered the beef soup noodle carry-out. It looked good to me at first but as I was eating it, I smelled a strange/nasty odor from the soup. It smell like blood to the best of my guess.. . I am not sure if it was the soup or from the medium-raw beef since I smelled that odor after putting the beef into the soup (On the carry out order, they put the meat..in a box and the soup in a separate plastic container). Not a good experience:(

Great pho and rolls, with lots of protein options. Lots of spacious seating options that can accommodate large parties! Decent pricing for Kansas City area, but not my fave Vietnamese place because it's not the most aesthetically pleasing, nor does it have the friendliest staff.

So good. A favorite whenever we're in town. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

It was pretty good. I had the strawberry bobo tea and Fried Quail with rice. Looking to try the Pho next time.

I ordered the carmelized pork bun mi and the lemongrass tofu spring rolls. The spring rolls were pretty good. They could use more flavor to offset the iceberg lettuce and rice noodles but overall not bad. I liked the bun mi a lot and the bread was amazing--crunchy yet soft and chewy. I wouldn't describe the pork as carmelized exactly but it was pretty good. The toppings on the sandwich were spot on and delicious. My main issue was the pate which was spread very thick. I would order it next time with very light pate. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place. They have many menu options that I'm excited to try.

Wow! One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I had heard about Bun Mee Phan, but had never made it in. The Pork Belly sandwich was amazing. Not a fancy restaurant, but really amazing, authentic food. Definitely a recommend!

I have always wanted to try a Banh Mi and I just happened to drive past this place a while back and finally stopped in for my first ever taste of a Banh Mi and I must say I am now an big fan. The beignet roll was incredibly tasty with the spicy lemongrass chicken which I highly recommend. Get the vietnamese iced coffee too, great taste with a strong finish. Next time I'll get the caramelized pork belly on a baguette.

Amazing pork belly bahn mi. You get a lot of sandwich for your money.I didn't care for the pate though, will ask for it without next time. But I will be back!

Clean and fresh the food was very tasty and described perfectly I had the quail with rice and the spicy beef noodle soup both were very good

if I lived in Kansas City I would eat here twice a week. I LOVE that they put entrees inside of fresh spring rolls if you prefer that to the sandwiches or noodle bowl...which are both also great. Pho is as good as anywhere, and try getting the chicken curry soup with French bread to dip.

I liked the old location better. And it feels like the prices went up. Just doesn't have the same vibe or smell it once did. But it's still good food. Just lost all the ambiance.

It was good! Better then most pho place in the metro and it's a Asian sandwich shop! I will be back for more...

Food is great, pho is best I have had. Owner is very hard working and dedicated to good food.love this place.
